Hey, we hear ya! You're fed up with work and you need to get away, right? So why not take your annual leave and journey around the gorgeous beaches and mountains of Cyprus. Just book your flight to Esentepe and take it from there.

If you travel around 25 kilometres southwest of Esentepe, you will reach the exciting city of Nicosia.

Make the short journey to Mandres, 20 kilometres to the southwest. Once you arrive, head straight to the Cyprus Museum.

Sitting 45 kilometres to the south, Finikoudes Beach is a delightful spot to spend a few hours enjoying the sound of the waves. Nissi Beach is also home to some gorgeous views. You'll find this popular shoreline 50 kilometres to the south.

You should always know where the closest natural escape lies. Here, it's Larnaca Salt Lake, 50 kilometres out of Esentepe.

No soccer follower will want to miss out on a visit to GSZ Stadium, which is located 45 kilometres away in Larnaca. Take a look at the event schedule to see when they're playing. If you miss them, why not catch the venue's other home team, the AEK Larnaca F.C?

Are you into swinging by St. Hilarion Castle and Kyrenia Harbour? They're not far from the middle of Catalkoy, 18 kilometres to the west. Alternatively, you could go to Ozankoy. It's 20 kilometres to the west of Esentepe and known for Kyrenia Castle and Buffavento Castle.

St. Paul's Cathedral, the University of Cyprus and the Frederick University are all close at hand. Of course, make sure you don't pass up the Nicosia Municipal Theater and Eleftheria Square either.
