Why not also see what's going on at the National Museum of the Navy and Pont Transbordeur - Maison du Transbordeur? There are a number of great hotels where you can snap up a room for a night or two in Rochefort. Check out the facilities at the Hôtel Restaurant de la Corderie Royale and Hotel Caravelle.
