Innsbruck is one of the most important cities in Germany, and it is within an easy commute of Elmau. You'll find it only 25 kilometres to the southeast.

Imperial Palace, Cathedral of St. James and Court Church can all be found near Zirl, 19 kilometres away. Consider spending a whole day here and really soak up these well-loved attractions!

There is a variety of interesting natural sights close to Elmau. Why not head 15 kilometres to Zugspitze? Alternatively, soak up Mother Nature's artwork at Hafelekar, 20 kilometres away.

Take in the views from the chairlift at Oberstdorf Ski Resort as you think about your next run. Alongside Garmisch-Partenkirchen Ski Resort, this snow-capped wonderland offers some of the best skiing in the region.
