Hotels In Eiheiji

Visiting new places is the best cure for boredom. How about booking a trip to Fukui? We have some cool places to crash close to where it's all happening in Eiheiji-cho. Right now we have 10 places to base yourself within a 10-kilometre radius of the main part of Eiheiji-cho.

Hotel choices situated close to Eiheiji-cho's CBD are few and far between, however, you'll find the Hotel Riverge Akebono and Yours Hotel Fukui are all within driving distance.

The Hanamurasaki is 19 kilometres from the heart of Eiheiji-cho. Alternatively, the Grandia Housen is positioned 17 kilometres away. Some other places to stay are the Kaga Katayamazu Onsen Kasuikyo and the APA Hotel Kaga Daisyoji-Ekimae.

After you have spent some time in Eiheiji-cho, be sure to enjoy Chubu's other great offerings. Explore the ruins, castles and traditional villages in Chubu. Outdoorsy types should also take the time to enjoy its beaches, mountains and active volcanos. Or join the locals in the snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing while you're here.

Located 50 kilometres to the south of Eiheiji-cho is Tsuruga, which offers various hotels. Hotel options here include the Hotel Route-Inn Tsuruga Ekimae and Tsuruga Manten Hotel Ekimae.

If you are really into sports and want to see local games, you could make a trip to Fukui Prefectural Stadium, which is 11 kilometres to the southwest of Eiheiji-cho. For those who fancy booking a bed close by, make a reservation at the Hotel Riverge Akebono or the Yours Hotel Fukui.

Komatsu Airport is the most used airport for transiting in or out of Eiheiji-cho and is 35 kilometres from the centre of town. If you plan to stay nearby, try the APA Hotel Komatsu or the Apa Hotel (Komatsu Grand).

This ryokan is very dated and in dire need of a refresh. The facilities are not what you would expect from a top end facility in a spa town. The public bath (men’s) felt decades old with soap/salt staining and old fittings. The private baths were a good facility/idea. Most corridors apart from the main lobby area had an unpleasant smell (musty, mouldy). Our room also faintly had this whiff. The staff are great - polite and efficient. Breakfast was good. The free snacks, sale, ice cream buffets were a good idea but don’t expect them to be top quality. The shuttle was handy. And the ryokan is well situated, a short walk away from charming Yamanaka town. Unfortunately I could not recommend this as a place until it has had a make-over.
