Mother’s Day Weekend 2026: The Maison is CLOSED. The advertising online Expedia may have you thinking that the Rosario Maison is open but No it is not. The room we stayed in is in adjacent building on Rosario property. You have access to private beach area and private garden. The room has Roku, microwave, coffee. There is no noise filtering. People came in the middle of the night and they were so loud. There is no staff onsite. Contactless entry code. The advertising on Expedia about where you will actually be staying is deceiving.

Such a magical place and what a view! Felt like an old family cottage that has been in the family for generations. So many nice touches, from the well-stocked kitchen to the relaxing hot tub on the expansive deck. The weather was gorgeous, so we were able to spend a lot of time out on the deck - and if it got a little chilly, we’d just kick on the propane fire table. A perfect place to spend our anniversary with the kids. Very convenient to Eastsound, but far enough away to be very private. Sherri, the host, was easily contacted and responsive, but let us be unless we needed something. Will definitely try to make it back sometime (maybe for another anniversary?).

Great location, beautiful views. Pet friendly, but be aware restaurant only pet friendly outdoor seating, which is seasonal. Food was great dinner and brunch.

The house was really nice. Communicating with the host was really easy. The laundry machines and gas stoves in the kitchens were nice. We really made use of all the kitchen supplies everyday, they were even nice to provide a take-home spices set. We also really enjoyed the bedroom, it wasn't a super big issue and kind of nice that it was separated from the rest of the house. Light does come into the bedroom on sunrise, which is both nice and harder when trying to sleep in. Bedroom was super clean.

Comfort, privacy and great view. The property was private. The house was very clean inside with many amenities. We enjoyed our mornings on the upper deck and evenings in the hot tub.

If you're looking for something tucked away from the rest of the world than look no further. Silently off to the side of long, windy, paved path, surrounded by trees and sound of silence broken only by the sound of a single car going down the road every couple of hours or so, this space is perfect for a romantic getaway.Everything is provided for you from cutting boards to cups/plates and cookware! Dont forget to bring stuff to grill! BUT, you're less than 10 minutes from the town's grocery store if you need more fresh local produce!Overall, this was the perfect place to leave everything behind and enjoy a nice, relaxing, and truly beautiful vacation to one of the best islands in the San Juans
