I loved the history of this B&B. It was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The hosts were interesting and socialized during breakfast. It was great to have conversations together with the other guests. I had the cute and extremely quaint room facing the trees. It was perfect. This place was very clean and the tasteful furnishings made my experience authentic and stylized for a comfortable stay. This place was FULL of interesting people. I will go back and stay again.

The Kangaroo House on Orcas Island was a great place to stay. The breakfasts were amazing, and hosts Jill and Charles were friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful with information about the island. They have an interesting story about why this beautiful B & B is called the Kangaroo House! I highly recommend this B & B

Charles and Jill are wonderful hosts; excellent cooks; and worldly, great people and conversationalists. The accommodation was charming and situated on beautiful grounds. Each morning after breakfast, we'd talk for a couple of hours with them about books, film, culture, travels, and everything under the sun, like old friends catching up. I can't rave enough about this experience

Great bed and breakfast with a beautiful property in a very good location in eating Eastsound. Less than 5 min to downtown and quick walk to North Beach which had great sunsets. No more than 10-20 min drive to most places on the island. The breakfasts were cooked with care and delicious and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained

It was amazing!! My friend and I enjoyed the hot tub in the magical forest, the delicious breakfasts, and the cozy ambiance. Jill and Charles were lovely and it was fun chatting with them as well as with the other guests!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at the Kangaroo house. Our hosts were very welcoming on arrival, showing us around the property, which is beautiful, as well as the home amenities. They have a hot tub which is perfect for relaxing in during nice days and a working fireplace that feels cozy on the not-so-nice days. Jill and Charles were attentive to our needs in all the right ways. I was there for a trail running race and have celiac and they took extra steps to make sure I had gluten free options for food. My husband had their normal breakfast and said it was amazing. He hates pancakes but said the ones they made were incredible. Additionally they were very friendly and inviting to an LGBTQ couple staying there which made me feel safe and welcome. I look forward to going back in the future!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stray was. Instead of feeling like a guest, Jill and Charles made us feel like good friends welcomed into their home.
