Marina Terrace (the restaurant) is beautiful for sunset and the couple running it, Kieran and Beth really make the place special. They are knowledgeable world travelers so we found kindred spirits. Kieran is an amazing chef who whipped up to die for risotto as good as we have had in Italy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do. This is an authentic local experience with few tourists. The town itself is very safe and close by there are some nice hikes and killer beaches nearby. We rented a scooter from them to get around and explore including riding it on Long Beach which was a ball. The rooms are basic with a comfy bed, hot water and decent AC. Rare for these parts is that the water is potable which is huge as you have no worries about getting sick. Highly recommended for travelers looking to hang out with the locals and enjoy a beer on empty beaches. We also rented a private boat and snorkeled some of finest reefs we’ve ever seen. Place next to the white sand beach.area is quite and walkable for early morning walk.but far away from port barton and downtown.

Ocean paradise: I think that's the best way to describe this place. It is a marine protected island with a wonderful reef. You can snorkel and see amazing fishes, corals, starfish and turtles! In the price the food is included (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The crew is amazing and they are trying to do anything you ask for. They played beach volley with us and they also showed me a pull-up bar where I could continue my training. The place was destroyed in 2022 by a typhoon, and they are slowly trying to fix it. It can now host about 15-20 people at most, and you live in a hut type of house where there is a private bathroom. There are also hammocks and sunbed all over the place. If you are a solo person, going there is weird as there are only couples 99% of the times. I've stayed for 4 nights, but I can easily go back there and spend another 10. It's true that there is not much to do apart from, running, swimming, snorkelling, beach volley, basketball, pull up bar, etc. But this simply life fits me so, I can stay there for many days. The night sky is also incredible and you can see sunset, moonrises, starts, milky way, etc. The only downside I see is that they are keeping most "street" lights on during the night, so you cannot really enjoy the dark night sky, but it's a matter of going around the island and you have your peace. It's really paradise on earth!

We booked 3 rooms on separate bookings and on arrival there was no rooms available. Owner tried to put all 3 of us in the same room with no discount. While at the property I discussed refund with hotels.com but following enquiry no refund was given and I also had to find alternative accommodation

Great service, beautiful beach and surroundings. It just had everything you need for a beach trip and they organise you tours and shared transportations.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice place to stay.
