This regional centre is 70 kilometres northwest of Diakopia and has a population of 66,000. The City Museum of Ioannina and the Archaeological Museum of Ioannina are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. Unless you're going to spend a night on the floor of Aktion National Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you leave. The Flower Pot complex is pretty close by, or you could always travel into Diakopia's centre. It's 45 kilometres away.
