We noticed a nice looking hotel online at Kamadhoo island and thought it would be a nice stop for our Maldivian island hopping experience. We booked in for one night at the Swarn by Hawks. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. The floor to ceiling glass view of the ocean is quite spectacular. We were upgraded from the Deluxe Sea View to the Executive Suite, which was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay a couple extra nights. Our travel plans changed and we ended up extending our stay at the hotel for another week. Ravin (the manager) was very accommodating in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing. We only ate the breakfasts at the hotel and it was a delicious buffet breakfast. We can’t comment on the other meals because we ended up eating out at the local restaurants. There was construction going on around the hotel and there are deficiencies in the newly built hotel, but they are addressing them and doing renovations as needed. The cost/night reflected this and more than compensated for the issues. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. As we were leaving one of the workers ran up to us to give us a few items that we accidentally left behind in the room. Everyone at Swarn by Hawks contributed to make our stay a memorable one. My wife recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the island – crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush greenery, and a sense of peace that makes you instantly relax. But what really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the incredible team who went above and beyond to make every moment special. A huge thank you to Yoosuf, whose warm welcome and attention to detail set the tone for our entire visit. He seemed to anticipate our every need and ensured everything ran perfectly throughout our stay. Felix impressed us with his friendly professionalism and genuine care, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Anand and Francisco added to the magic with their wonderful hospitality — whether it was at meals or around the resort, they made us feel completely at home while still delivering five-star service. We were also deeply touched by Mai and Ita, who added so many thoughtful personal touches to help us celebrate our anniversary — from beautifully arranged surprises to heartfelt gestures that made us feel truly special. Their kindness and enthusiasm made our experience even more memorable. Every detail, from the stunning villa to the delicious food and the immaculate beach, was perfect. But what truly sets Landaa apart is its people.

High ceiling room with old world charm, waking up to the sound of wave, walk into ocean from the villa, attentive staffs, well maintained sites and the food was amazing across all restaurants, only if the weather could be a bit better, this wouldn’t been the trip of lifetime, will definitely come back in a non- raining season. And thank you Dusit Thani, this is indeed “ the land of heaven”!

A True Slice of Paradise From the moment you step onto the island, you know you’ve arrived in true paradise. I’ve traveled to many countries and stayed at various hotels and resorts, but I can confidently say this experience sets a new standard — offering a level of luxury and uniqueness that’s truly unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed by our personal concierge, Poula, who went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty. He and his team arranged a stunning private dinner setup and helped us book an incredible professional photographer. We ended up purchasing two albums because we simply couldn’t choose from all the amazing photos. This place gave us the perfect balance of peace and adventure. We originally came to celebrate our anniversary but were gifted a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will never forget. I’ll definitely miss this place and can’t wait to return with my family.
