The BIG surprise was the fact we were asked for a 50 dollar deposit even though the room was totally paid for. We got it back once we returned the keys and the room was okay. Never ever have I had to put a security deposit down on a motel room.

Smell the coffee before you stay here.

Clerk was not what i expected. He was polite but argumentative. Reservation was messed up. I asked for a 1st floor room due to disabilities and was told I had asked for a handicapped room and the reservation was for the next day and was charged an additional charge ($39). When we went for breakfast, the breakfast room was virtually bare of any food, the coffee was absolutely the worst and when notified of that, the clerk was basically non-responsive. As a Minister, I had a hard time refraining from turning the other cheek. I will never, I repeat, never darken the door of that Hotel again.
