The four seasons porch is surrounded by trees and over a thousand shade plants. Offering so much privacy you’ll forget you’re in the city!! Conveniently located off the interstate near restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Des Moines. Complimentary Hulu provided.
The space
Build in 1949 this historic house offers a glimpse back in time. With only around 3,000 total Lustron homes made, it really is a hidden gem. This steel structure still holds strong today and the retro décor gives a unique atmosphere away from the norm.

Volleyball Tournament Stay

We are volleyball coaches and had a volleyball tournament in downtown Des Moines and needed to bring our dog with us for this trip. We found this VRBO that offered a fenced back yard and had two king beds, which was perfect for me, my spouse and adult daughter. The house is in a great neighborhood, close to downtown and the hotels our team stayed at in Clive. We had a great trip and the house was perfect for us due to location, size and amenities. It was relaxing and comfortable with owners who were responsive and accommodating. Everything was just as described.

A house with history and character

We loved staying in this home with so much character and mid-century history! It's showing some age, but that is part of its charm. Its very clean and well stocked, comfortable beds, dog friendly and we will come back to stay again in summer, to enjoy what looks like some very pretty landscaping and gardens. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. All and All A+
