This property is on a bluff overlooking an ocean cove. The view was beautiful and we saw several whales and lots of seabirds. The restaurant and bar are closed but there are options nearby. The property needs a lot of maintenance - paint on bare wood espcially.

definitely needs an update

this hotel is in need of a remodel. they are in the works or demolishing and rebuilding but they are having issues getting it started( according to a paper we got at check in). restaurant and lounge are closed. hot tub closed. pool is open. the only good thing was the view. beach access which is all stairs. definitely needs an update. but we were only there to sleep so wanted horrible.

Love this place until recently. They are getting ready to tear down and rebuild and the grounds feel that way. Gas fireplace chairs broken, amenities closed, damage in the unit. Even the down to the remote which had no back and held together with scotch tape. For $220 a night, not comparable to even a year ago when we stayed last. Bummer.

Check in was easy and staff is nice. Place inside was filthy though. Floors were so dirty/sticky and the bathroom had blood on the wall!! Also there was stray hair in the bathroom. For the price we paid we expected cleaner and less grimy arrangements. The fridge was not on when we arrived and it was stuffy inside. View was beautiful from the window and balcony. I also didn’t like that the balcony was shared. Overall I probably won’t stay here again due to the quality of the hotel and the lack of cleanliness.

Stairs down to room were horrible and not sturdy. The face cloth had hair on it. The bed had hair on the side that was not ours, the fridge was warm, ad stated breakfast, turns out no breakfast or restaurant. Employees seen smoking outside of rooms and coming out of room. Was very run down.

Filthy, unsafe, and dilapidated

We booked this hotel on the coast to extend our family vacation and specifically booked it for the pool. After check in, which was friendly enough, we went to our room. To say that this property is in disrepair is an understatement. The bar and restaurant are permanently closed. Our room did not have a workable lock on the door or the slider - there was a note to use a stick in the slider to lock it. The fireplace in the room did not work. The baseboards and walls were filthy. The pool was moldy - including photos here. There was an outdoor fire pit that we were told did not work anymore although there was a full propane tank hooked up to it. There is a walkway down to the beach that is roped off with faded signs - when you inspect further you will note that the walkway has fallen onto the beach. Online there are notes that the property will be demolished so they are not doing any upkeep on it - some sites say October 2024 and others March 2025 - we stayed in July of 2025 and there was no demo started. My question is why do they choose to keep renting out a dilapidated property with false advertising online? The photos pictured were nothing like what actually existed. We also paid 170$ for this room for one night when I could find it for 90$ after check in on other sites. We could have stayed on the coast with no pool and a clean, safe room for much cheaper. Do not waste your money on this dirty, unsafe establishment. I would like to request a refund.

Every room with an ocean view

For my wife and I, it was a great value and location. Every room has ocean view, and it is extremely pet friendly. It is NOT fancy; rooms are comfortable, and grounds are a bit unkept. Nevertheless, you are in a central location to head out the coast. The hotel does not have a restaurant. I summary, it as a great no frills place that is an excellent value.
