Nice hotel with minor issues

The hotel is in a good location And appears very clean and has the typical downtown hotel amenities. The staff was very friendly. I only have two issues: pillows were too soft and thin so my back and neck are sore. The second issue was a light that kept turning on on its own throughout the night and waking me up. The hotel did fix it right away and comped the first night so they did the right thing.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Denver Downtown, and I can’t say enough about the incredible hospitality I experienced. I was in town under very difficult circumstances—my father had been in a tragic train accident that left him paralyzed. Traveling alone and dealing with such an emotional situation was overwhelming, but the staff at Sonesta went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was outstanding. The restaurant staff, especially the morning crew, provided top-tier hospitality. One lady in particular (I regret not catching her name) even took care of my bill one morning—a gesture that meant so much. Housekeeping was equally amazing. They kept my room immaculate and even left a care package in my room, which was such a thoughtful and much-needed surprise. It showed that they truly cared, not just about my stay but also about what I was going through. The hotel itself was safe, clean, and top-notch. The location felt secure, and the rooms were well-maintained, providing the perfect space to rest during such a difficult time. While the standard rating is five stars, I’d give them TEN for the way they went above and beyond. Whenever I return to Denver, I won’t even think twice about where to stay—Sonesta Denver Downtown has earned a lifelong customer. Thank you for making a tough time just a little bit easier. Edmond S.

I believe the room I stayed in had bed bugs. I woke up the next day with some slight itchiness on my body. the day after my visit I woke up at my home covered in bites. I know for a fact I do not have bed bugs in my home so I assume it happened at the hotel

Great location, room was very nice, everything was good. Would have given a much better rating if the shower wasn't so bad. Water pressure was terrible, for the hot water. Had to mostly take a cold shower to get good pressure.
