The property is conveniently located to the convention center, museums, shopping and restaurants. Check out was very convenient and the desk person was very friendly and helpful. The check in was terrible. The system was up and down so the first person took all my info but the credit card reader wouldn’t work. She asked the person next to her to check me in so I had to provide the info again but then the first person’s credit card system was up so i had to switch back to the first person. I could have handled the inconvenience of having to say my info over and over but the attitudes of the two desk people wasn’t very service oriented. They appeared annoyed that I was even there having to check in. I know they were probably frustrated but it came across as annoyance with me. The manager was there and really didn’t do anything either.

This property has been well renovated, though some of the facilities showed their age. One example of this was that the pool, one of the differentiating factors versus it's competitors, was out of commission during my visit. The hotel had a nice restaurant, but didn't offer room service or any other enticements to utilize their dining options, so I ended up eating elsewhere during my stay. Fortunately the hotel is well located with lots of local dining and shopping options within walking distance.
