Hotel interior was nicely decorated and well kept. Rooms were clean and neat. The sink in the bathroom had a huge spider crack in it, which we reported. The shower was roomy, and had great water pressure.
The hotel is walking distance to the metro, which was perfect if you want to go into Denver for a game (hockey, basketball or football). You can metro to Union Station and then either walk to either stadium, or, hop the light rail to Ball Stadium.
Hotel is literally right down the road from rental car return/airport. Super convenient. It's next to a number of new condos which are very nice and the neighborhood was quiet when we drove through.
There is significant construction happening around the outside of the building. We could hear it through the windows at 8 am. We are early risers so it was not a problem, but it's to be noted that it's happening and it was loud.
Breakfast was OK, but I wouldn't pay $14 per person again for it. It was slightly better than the free breakfasts we've had at other hotels. Standard bagels, toast, sausage/bacon, oatmeal, coffee/juice and a self serve waffle maker. Eggs were gross but they normally are at these places. It was convenient to walk downstairs and get it right in the hotel. Some previous reviews say it was $8pp, but it's now $14pp.
We paid $16 per night (pay by phone) to park which I expected. I think it's overkill, but understand they probably do that to keep commuters and metro visitors from parking in the hotel lot.
