Avoid this hotel. Stay at JW Marriott or Novotel
This is certainly not a 5* hotel, and no one should stay here.
- I was promised a view of the airport, which I had people from Holiday Inn confirming my request will be done. Turns out this view doesn't exist, and instead I got the most horrible view of a depressing dark building site. Duty manager did offer to change the view to poolside view however I declined as I was fed up
- The TV didn't work until engineer finally turned up after various calls to customer service
- I wasn't having breakfast due to catching a flight therefore I requested to have lunch or dinner the previous day for no charge. This was declined. They offered my 30% discount which I declined as this was an insult
- The safe wasn't working in the room and no one came to fix it after multiple calls to customer service. I am not waiting around therefore I left the room eventually and then someone apparently came but I wasn't there to open the door. The safe should be working in the first place
- The lights in the room wasn't working
- There is a lack of internal plugs in the room and seeing how this is a hotel which welcomes mostly international passengers, the lack of plugs and international plugs was bad
- The actual room was terrible as wallpaper was peeling, and a lot of wear and tear showing throughout
The service in a whole is really bad. One manager did offer my free cab service to airport which was nice. I would not suggest anyone stay at this hotel.
