Peace & quiet in the heart of the rolling Brionnais countryside, mixing agriculture & nature, nestled in the hollow of the bucolic local wooded bocage dotted with rivers & ponds, a stone's throw from the small village of Curbigny (& its 12th century Romanesque church) and the renowned sumptuous Château de Drée dating from 1650 (listed MH) with a sublime 10 ha French-style park, a marvel of plant architecture with a magnificent rose garden. Spacious, very comfortable gîte. Vast living room with a masterful "cathedral volume". Very warm country character enhanced by the exotic soul of an old residence (preservation of the original stone walls, wooden lintels & pillars, framework, rare stone sink, etc.).
