Food was not that great but with the wide variety u can find something to eat. The entertainment was good. The shower was wonderful and the beds was comfy. The internet was not the best at times I didn't get texts from my group And our rooms was far apart and I ask to be close I had 4 rooms one room was as far on one side of the resort and one of the other room was the rarest on the opposite side it was like walking 4 blocks to get to one another.

Enjoyed my stay! Comfortable bed and the staff always kept the property very clean! 6.5/10 on the food, it was mediocre but the breakfast options were always good! I didn’t really like how you couldn’t take food to your room though.. The steak restaurant only took a certain amount of people each night so you have to arrive early which wasn’t an issue! I ate there on my third night (nothing to write home about). While there, I also watched the staff turn people away but let others come in and dine (they were being choosy which was a bit perplexing). The ocean side was a bit disappointing as there was a lot of algae on the sand by the ocean which made you not want to walk towards the beach without any water shoes on! I give the alcoholic beverages a 4/10, they tasted good but I couldn’t seem to get a buzz, just a full stomach so I stopped ordering them! Overall the property is worth staying at for the price. I’d advise bringing a nice bottle of liquor in your travel bag if you prefer an alcoholic buzz and water shoes for sure! Definitely worth visiting if your looking for an expensive vacation but there are other nice resorts in Cancun that could easily top this one. Also the ride from the airport is about 45 mins to 1.5 hours depending on traffic so that’s also something to consider!

Overall fantastic stay. Food was good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accommodation were right where they need to be. Room was great only downside was toilet in separate room and it’s not very big room. But overall didn’t spend much time in room anyways so technically it washes out or really wouldn’t count against them. View was amazing over courtyard and gulf.

The property was amazing they worked hard constantly cleaning the resort and the beaches. Seagrass was a minimum. The food was great. The drinks were bottom self alcohol. But once we realized that we could ask for Tito’s or Jim Beam and they would do so that helped. Reyna made the best Coffee in the Sports Bar every morning. The biggest complaint I heard from everyone is the Jungle a Pink party requires a reservation for transportation. When I ask Ricky at the front desk the early morning on the day of the party he was extremely rude and unhelpful. He said to last you should have known. I simply ask how was I to know? There is posters about the party. Nothing says make reservation now. He said it was in my app. But when he looked in my app he stated it’s a malfunction and continued to just be rude. I was crying on vacation simply because of the way he was speaking to me. This is in acceptable. Later Santiago was going by the pool and inviting everyone to attend. I mentioned to him the front desk said there was no room in transport. He said we have five buses going. Be at the lobby. We have plenty of room. We went had a wonderful time. To problems. Overall we had a good vacation we were there for 8 days and only the one incident. Communication could be better. The best service from the whole resort was from Issac Garcia at the Zini Jewelry store! He was so sweet and was not pushy at all. We look several day and then came back, made our final selection. Issac’s a blessing.

We came with a group of friends and had a wonderful time! Riu properties are always clean and well kept! The slides were a blast! Food at all the restaurants was great! Spent most of our time in the pool next to the pool bar pool! Loved that Wilbur came by and made our drinks! He was great! The beach and ocean were great! Soft sand and the water wasn't crazy, just nice to hang out in!!
