It's situated 280 kilometres to the north of Madrid, the national capital of Spain.

Sitting 80 kilometres to the northwest, Camello Beach is a delightful spot to spend a couple of hours picnicking on the shore. Somo Beach also offers some gorgeous scenery. You'll find this enticing stretch of coastline 80 kilometres to the northwest.

It's common knowledge that spending time in the great outdoors is good for your health and happiness. In light of that, why don't you make your way 50 kilometres out of Corro to Monte Artxanda? Valle Salado de Anana, 18 kilometres away, is another recommended choice.

Looking for some electrifying soccer action? Then come and watch the Athletic Bilbau lock horns with the opposition on their home ground of San Mames Stadium, 45 kilometres away in Bilbao.

The bright white landscapes of Alto Campoo Ski Resort and Valdezcaray Ski Area lure big numbers of powder fiends. Rent some skis and cut up the varied slopes.

Don't forget to go to other nearby attractions, such as Salto del Nervión and the Lobera de Barrón. These are situated 10 kilometres east in Berberana. Don't want to return the rental car just yet? Frias Bridge and the Puerta del Postigo are in Valle de Tobalina, 11 kilometres to the southwest of Corro.

About 40 kilometres to the southeast, Anguciana is a destination with plenty to do. Plaza de la Paz, the Bodegas Bilbainas and the Bodega Rafael Lopez de Heredia are all pretty close. Keep in mind, the Bodegas Ramon Bilbao and Church of Santo Tomas Apostol may be more your thing.
