Room vents had mold and the pool smelled of chlorine so bad that we could only be in the pool for less than 10min before my son started coughing so bad. The pool shouldn’t have even been open.

I've given this hotel a few chances, and it isn't terrible for a budget but not the greatest. There's always something not functioning when I am there. Last time none of the exercise equipment was functional (didn't attempt this time), this time the A/C on the first floor was out and the hot tub inoperable. Also, there were about 30 people & children in the pool area who were blasting a giant loudspeaker making it impossible to enjoy the pool area.

All the facilities were broken and had roaches. Hot tub-broke, ice cold. Washer/dryer-broken on every floor. Gym equipment-broken, both treadmill and stepper. Coffee pot in room-broken. Mold in rooms, woke up with swollen eyes, itchy throat had to change rooms, a little less mold but kept the air on 60 to help. The housekeepers were incredibly nice but had to chase them down daily for towels, washcloths and garbage bags. I do not recommend.

I dont know where to start. Our check in didnt go well.The young lady in the front was stuck up didnt make my boyfriend feel welcome. Besides that, she didn't tell him what time breakfast started or ended. Second of all, I guess the AC in the lobby wasn't work it was hot in there, and they had the door opened flies flying around the food.Coffee machine wasn't working. None of the machines in the gym weren't working.Top it off the water from the shower and the sink were coming out so slow.

Stayed at the Wingate for a mini-vacation with my wife. We had stayed here before; we like trying hotels, but decided to come back to the Wingate. First, we could not check in until 3:16 PM, 16 minutes after stated check-in time. Secondly, the indoor pool is no longer heated; the hot tub no longer works. The morning shift clerk we talked to, didn't seem to care. We will not stay at the Wingate anymore. We used to refer friends to the Wingate, but we will now share the bad decline of this hotel with our friends.
