The setting was spectacular, we had good weather and an excellent clear view of the surrounding mountains from the terrace and our balcony. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and kind and the breakfast spread was on a par with other paradors we had visited. Yes the floors are creaky and plumbing is ancient but we loved being there and the Parador is due to close shortly for major renovation.

Beautiful views -staff were superb. Very clean room. Only thing was no air-con but a fan was supplied and the room cooled way down at night anyway.

Arrived late afternoon so had to ring as no one on reception. Arrived promptly. Very helpful. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast in the cafe below as we had food to use before getting the boat home but we were asked. Very quiet in the winter months. Would stay again.

Excellent place for families, a rural house where you can experience the life of a small town in northern Spain. The house is well equipped, with comfortable bathroom and bedrooms. The town has an ATM, some small restaurants and a small supermarket. Situated in the middle of mountains and amazing parks. Very safe roads and very friendly local people

A surprisingly pleasant stay despite initial impressions outside and the general location. The rooms, there were 4 of us, were very spacious and had everything we needed. A nice breakfast was included. The only real negative was we didn't know there was no restaurant service Fri to Sun....we arrived Fri for 2 nights. Staff helpful.
