With a stay at Corran House Guest House & Hostel in Oban, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of St. John's Cathedral and Oban War and Peace Museum.
The Guest house was good value with well stocked kitchen. My room was of a good condition and layout. The only issue I had was my shared bathroom was down one level requiring me to lick my room each time I used it. Overall great location, reasonable price, excellent staff.

A stay at The Great Western Hotel places you in the heart of Oban, steps from St. John's Cathedral and 4 minutes by foot from Oban Distillery.
This hotel is on poor condition. Lift not working. Breakfast was good. Bathroom had cracked tiles and mold. Would not recommend
