Conkles Hollow is a state nature preserve within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor. The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone cliffs. The lower trail through the gorge is about 1 mile and is accessible for the most casual of hikers. The rim trail is a couple miles long and is a bit more strenuous.

Loving this little moody shot of Conkles Hollow. This was taken from the rim trail (east side). This place is beautiful! Views like this from the top and waterfalls and lush foliage in the gorge trail. Highly recommend this place!

Great private location. Perfect for getaway, but not too far from local amenities. The only negative for us was the beds. The mattresses seemed old and worn out. Especially the one upstairs. Other than that it was a great stay.

We had a fantastic family weekend at the Hummingbird Lodge! The owners were fast to answer questions when they came up during our stay and were very helpful. The pool and hut tub were a huge plus, and the kids loved the game room as well. We will definitely be back!
