If you want to spend a few nights in Nuoro, consider the rates at the Euro Hotel and Hotel Sandalia. 30 kilometres to the northeast of Cogoli you can also stay at Budoni, home to the Beach Hotel Budoni and Hotel Pedra Niedda. While in Budoni, set aside some time to visit Port Ottiolu and the San Teodoro Port.

Sitting 40 kilometres from Cogoli is Olbia, a regional hub with a population of 43,000. It's where you'll find some sweet attractions, like Nuraghe Riu Mulinu, the Holy Well of Sa Testa and the Port of Olbia. The National Archaeological Museum of Olbia and Cathedral of San Simplicio (Cattedrale S. Simplicio) are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some photo ops.
