Wrong hotel???

We originally booked hotels, indigo in Cleveland downtown. When we arrived, they rudely told us we were at the wrong hotel and sent us 20 miles to what they said was the correct hotel. We were told that sometimes hotels.com will book the next closest hotel of the same franchise if they are sold out, I don’t know if this is true or not, but it was not convenient for us. Ultimately the hotel we stayed at was very charming, and the staff was very friendly.

2nd class citizen?

Check in was fine: the room was fabulous. We had two bathrooms in our room! Very nice, clean and coolly air conditioned. What I didn't like is not having breakfast the next morning I thought I was given breakfast with the room? Apparently not. Some guests, did however. I don't know what qualified them and not me? Walked out the next morning being miffed.

The hotel is attached to a really nice steakhouse. The hotel is good but not amazing. The bathroom had long hairs in the shower and on the sink. Not a big deal, just kind of gross. The bathroom doesnt have a door, just a sliding panel which doesn’t offer much privacy. Overall, it was good. AC was good, bed was good, check in was easy.

Recent Stay

The hotet gets two things really right: the mattress/pillows and shower. We purchased the morning breakfast for $12 per but found the food and service to be a bit off. Dry omelettes and tough french toast caused us to not use what we'd paid for on two days of our stay. We also weren't sure about how our room was being maintained. We didn't get towels one day and had to go get them and the room didn't appear to be serviced for three of our four days. The bed wasn't made on three of the four days. We weren't sure if that was normal or not. The location is great and the staff we encountered were really friendly.

My stay was nice. The appearance of the hotel was nice (especially the front entrance). Some things looked a little worn but overall nice. Some of the guest were not as pleasant. Smelled marijuana and people were loud during the night.

The hotel was conveniently located close to everything I needed. The room was fine except for one thing. The “barn door” bathroom closure was extremely noisy and not at all private. I was in a shared room so that mattered a lot.
