Quirky property in a convenient neighborhood. Getting in and out is super easy. Staff has that Midwest friendliness that just makes you feel welcome. Walking distance to the zoo.

Absolutely loved our stay. Only complaint was that there was a blood spot on the top of our sheets which was extremely noticeable from the first steps into our room. Looked fresh but could have been stained. Regardless… wasn’t the best impression and I’m not sure how housekeeping overlooked it. I took pics and showed them to front desk who sent up clean linens for us to change ourselves. Wasn’t a dealbreaker and would stay again. Our little still talks about it.

This is our second time staying here. We enjoy the hotel and location. There have been some changes since our last stay. New ownership and parking is now an additional charge. The room keys are also no longer student ID cards, we just thought that was a fun touch. The bedding and chairs in the room had stains this time around. Would probably still continue to stay here as the rest of the room was clean and sometimes stains just don't get noticed.

Clean and unique property. We have stayed here before and was offered a voucher to put towards breakfast. That no longer exists and be prepared for $20 parking charge as well. Small things, but they add up.
