Breakfast was Luke warm / not much bread left for toast as I assumed that most items were consumed by an overnight coach tour party staying overnight with earlyish departure. One staff member on duty probably having to cover for restaurant In the room which was ok the only problem was when you empty the wash basin the waste water came up the bath plug hole

A pleasant experience overall and the staff were lovely. Would recommend staying here if you’re ever in Swindon. Thanks!

Good breakfast and dinner options, friendly staff

Breakfast choices were excellent. The buffet has eggs over easy , scrambled plus ham,sausage too much to mention. Plus real fresh bread, cereals any kind of coffee and hot drinks plus juices!

Hotel is lovely with a great setting on the river, staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was first class, as was the Evening meal, did feel that the tables in the restaurant were a bit dated so a cloth to cover the table would have made it look so much nicer, I appreciate that the building is very old and had I known how noisy it was going to be I would have asked for an upstairs room, you could hear every step because the floorboards were very creaky and none of room doors had a soft close mechanism so there was constant door banging, it would also have been helpful if all guests could be reminded to be considerate by keeping the noise down when returning to there rooms late at night on the information sheet in the room. Having said all that it is a beautiful place in a great location and I will definitely be returning in a few months. Thank you

The staff were above and beyond helpful. Kind and very welcoming. The breakfast was really good. I would go back.
