Attractions and Hotels Near Chugo-ri

If you still have itchy feet, why not broaden your travels and see more of the North Jeolla region? Don't even think of going home without stopping at a few of the region's amazing coastal plains. Old towns, fortresses and cathedrals are also worth a look around. Those with a serious appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little snowboarding and skiing in this corner of South Korea.

Looking for more to do? Spend a few hours enjoying the Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center. You'll find them in Namwon, 45 kilometres to the south of Chugo-ri. If you want to stay in Namwon, consider the Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon. 45 kilometres to the west of Chugo-ri you'll also find Jeonju, home to the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. If you stay in Jeonju, make sure you visit the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla.

Daegu is situated 85 kilometres away from Chugo-ri and has a population of 2,600,000. When you're in the region, you'd be mad if you didn't have a squiz at the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, Apsan Park and Dongsan Bowling Center. Got another day on your hands?
