Always on the hunt for your next big adventure? You'll be happy to know that the wider South Gyeongsang region has some incredible things to see and do as well. Among South Gyeongsang's natural wonders are its coastal plains. After you've gotten all zen in nature, hit up ruins and traditional villages. Eager for more? Common activities in this part of South Korea include mountain climbing, so don't be scared to have a crack!

Don't shoot through before you've checked out the Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center in Namwon. If you want to spend a night or two in Namwon, consider the rates at the Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon. Or, you could consider staying in Jeonju, 55 kilometres to the west of Chosan, where you'll find the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel.
