It's 190 kilometres to the south of Seoul, South Korea's capital city.

Head out into the fresh air and contemplate the natural surroundings of Deogyu-san National Park. It's located 25 kilometres away from Chorim. You can also experience a bit of peace and quiet at Moak Mountain, 35 kilometres away.

Whether you're a soccer lover or you just want to taste the gripping atmosphere, try to watch a live game at Jeonju World Cup Stadium, the home ground of the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. You'll find the stadium 35 kilometres away in Jeonju.

Don't be alarmed if you see many like-minded tourists at Unjangsan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest.

The Tapsa Temple and Maisan Provincial Park are quite close to the centre of Jinan, 9 kilometres to the south. Looking for more? Wanju, 20 kilometres to the west of Chorim, is home to Daea Arboretum and the Songgwangsa Temple.

Spend some time exploring the Gyeonggijeon, the Jeonju Historical Museum and the Jeonju National Museum. These sights are all not far from the middle of Jeonju, 30 kilometres to the west.
