Nature lovers should plan an outing to some of Chokkyo-ri's stunning beaches, coastal plains and forests. A few other gotta-sees to put on your hit list are old towns and fortresses. Additionally, if you’ve always wanted to go mountain climbing, hiking and shore fishing, you'll have the opportunity to in this part of South Korea.

High heels or flip-flops? However you like to roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Jeonju, 40 kilometres away. With the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla to check out, you're not gonna be bored. If you want to visit Jeonju, consider the rates at the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. Alternatively, you could stay in Asan, 75 kilometres to the north of Chokkyo-ri, where you can pick from the Onyang Grand Hotel and Hoseo Hotel.
