Good value and location

Good location for walking to major attractions downtown. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Several dining options within a block.

I was highly disappointed by this property. My kids and I checked in and they had run out of linens for the pullout couch and ended up giving us a queen mattress pad, 2 pillows without cases and one blanket. The room consistently smelled like marijuana. The toilet was broken. The one saving grace was the security guys, they went above and beyond and without them, we likely would have moved hotels. Their kindness and willingness to help (one brought the linens they could up to our room so my son could go to bed) when he saw me struggling waiting for the desk clerk to "deal with me" (his words, not mine). These guys need recognition for their above and beyond efforts!

This is the perfect location if you are in Chicago to explore this amazing city. It's housed in an historic building right and walking distance to amazing restaurants, the Art Institute of Chicago. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
