There were multiple issues with our first two rooms but they took care of us and upgraded our room. They were very nice about our towel refreshments and constantly were greeting us as we arrived and left the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality Whitehall!

Recommended, but had one problem.

Nice room, but the so-called City View "upgrade" was less than impressive -- mainly facing one other building. In addition, a drunk guest in an adjoining room woke us up several times rattling the doorknob to our room. Location was very convenient to restaurants and transportation centers. Would recommend.

Came to Chicago for Market Days. This was the closest hotel to North Halsted with vacancy. The room and the facilities were fine, but the free breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had at a hotel. Also, the toiletries were not great (poor quality and inconsistent offerings). I would probably stay here if I was in a jam, but I wouldn’t seek this hotel out again.

Veey dark and gloomy room. I was given a 4th floor roim facing an alley and rooftop. Furniture looked like it came from thrift stores very Mediterranean old lady; coukdnhear showers running loudly elsewhere. No room housekeeping unless one asks. Received 1 set of towels (1 bath, 1 hand, 2 washcloths) for a 2 night booking. Sink was missing the stopper so very dangerous for jewelry accidents. No free water. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious (booked jr suite). Realized after that the BW meant Best Western which explains a lot. Hotel restaurant was "inspired asian" but served PIZZA so not sure what that was. Asked for 1 hr extended check out (11am co is pretty early) and they refused. Tiny cramped elevators. I could go on. But very convenient to North Mich ave, shopping, restaurants, etc.
