The history of the Drake is great but with that comes uniqueness for example bathroom layout minimal space to set things and one plug & old furniture the restaurant is great and staff really good!

I spent $345 for our room and it was tiny and antiquated. I’m sure they have better rooms, but we were pretty disappointed. The location was great though. We wanted to be on the mag mile so we were happy with that aspect!

There’s should be an elevator in the area of the main entrance door, so that you can get heavy bags up to the Lobby floor, so that you don’t have to take the long way around.

The hotel is showing its age , but the Location and staff are great as well as the price, we had a corner Jr. Suite lake view for a very good price/value. Had problems with the shower /hot water but they solved it 80% right away . Room service is sort of weird all by phone ,no paper menu, but after one learns how to use it it was pretty good.
