I Won't Stay Here Again

Day 1 there was no wifi. I was in Chicago for work and needed wifi. There were no face towels in my room. When I went down to let them know the wifi wasn't working, I asked for face towels and was given the thinnest face towels in the world. You could see through them- thats how thin they were. I ended up just leaving day 2 without even canceling or checking out.

The whole hotel smells like water damage and is in need of some serious upgrades, updates and fixes. You could tell there was or is some sort of water damage going on Our first room we were given had mold on the ceiling wall and carpet clearly from water damage, we were shocked that this room was even rented out and bit closed for repairs when the last guest checked out

Very convenient to the airport with an efficient shuttle service. Rooms are clean though a bit dated. Could use a refresh Very limited on-site or nearby food options. Service was friendly and helpful. Great for an overnight at the airport. Excellent value.

Quiet and clean room. MaryJane smell in hallway. Dinner at the attached restaurant was convenient late. Nothing around hotel within walking distance. Airport shuttle was full in AM and I had to Uber at 5:00 AM to catch my flight. All around convenient for hotel near airport.

We had reserved two rooms. One room did not have hair dryer readily available until we asked for it. Another room has water blocking in sink, and did not have iron stand.

Not recommending

The outside looked dated but the front desk and waiting area looked updated and inviting. The further we walked to our rooms the less comfortable it was getting. The rooms didn't have coffee, cups, or a mini fridge. The faucet was rusted and spraying water from the top of the faucet and the light switches didn't look safe. It's wasn't a comfortable room and I wouldn't recommend for my team to stay there. The shuttle driver and check out attendant were pleasant and the best part of the stay.

It is right off O’Hare airport. The hotel was built in the 70’s. Thought since it was a Marriott property it would have been updated. The lovely young lady who checked us in was very friendly and personable. No complaints there. The carpet in the halls needs to be vacuumed around the baseboards or replaced. The bed was comfortable and the sheets looked clean. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. The bathroom floor could use a good scrubbing. The carpet in the room could stand to be replaced. I left my socks on. There was a coffee maker in the room but no cups. Looks like the cleaning crew made the bed and left the room. No liners on the trash cans. The towels were rough. It’s a hotel in need of updating. The windows in the room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years.

Very close to the airport and easy to use shuttle service. The room seemed clean but I couldn't help feeling like something was off. Maybe it was because it hasn't been renovated in a long time? The next morning, there were a bunch of pill bugs in the lobby, on the rug. I could easily spot at least 20 of them. That kind of just confirmed my feeling.

Showing its age but not really gracefully.

The hotel is showing its age. The parking lot was spacious but very pitted which made it hard to roll my bag. The room was a bit small. There was a chair which didn't fit in the side they put it since it was right in front of the AC. So it sat at a weird angle. It would have had more space without the chair. Due to the age of the property, there were limited plugs around the room. There was a power strip next to the desk. There were no face cloths to use in the shower.

Pictures and reviews are deceiving. A lot older building than pictured. Smelled old and windows were dirty or had some sort of paint or something on them. Market for late night arrivals is bare. Just was expecting a different look and more updated feel. It is a good quick over night stay and we did feel safe. Check in smooth and kind.
