Besides the pool being close the lead manager Caitlin was so awesome she accommodated my group very well and the bartender Donnie and Henrique was fantastic making the drinks you like, the only bad side was the security at front desk was rude and ignorant and it was another worker guy he showed hospitality as well overall it’s a very nice hotel to stay I will stay again oh and they took off some money for the pool not being open and gave us free drink card if you want good hospitality asl for Caitlin she will take care of you. I give a 4 star oh and very convenient to everything I mean everything any thing you wanna do see or eat great location.

The checkin procedure at your hotel is really messed up. We arrived yesterday right around 4:00 pm and the line for check in was at least 15 people deep with two workers. The process per person took at least 10 minutes per person. I waited in the check in line for over an hour to finally get my room keys. The water was also turned off from 10:00pm-6:00 am. At 1:00 am there was a loud drill noise that lasted for hours..... The worst Hilton expeprience I've ever had.

Love Embassy Suites

Staff was very friendly. I had an emergency and had to see a dentist. We called hotel and they let our teenage grandchildren stay an extra couple hours past check in. Breakfast was wonderful.

There was a plumbing issue the entire stay that disrupted my sleep as well as showering schedule. There were tiny bugs on the curtains that oases me out. I kept my suitcase on the bed the whole time. I loved Chicago but I will never stay at the Embassy again

Upon check-in, I was told the water would be off for the next two nights from 10pm-6am. While I understand things happen, this situation shohkd have been communicated sooner than when I was there to check in. It was a known issue and the water being off was a planned event (there were flyers available at the front desk). I was basically given the option (during check-in) to proceed with the reservation, or cancel it. If i had been communicated with sooner, I could have nade other arrangements, but to wait and tell me at check in left me in a bind. I did not have the time to go and research/call other hotels to see about availability. The hotel didnt even offer to kove people to another property nearby. We were given the option of no water, or go find something else. Also, the noise while they did the repair overnight was extremely loud and made it nearly impossible to sleep.

In need of upgrading. Sinks in bedroom and hallway had no water. No one answered the phone when you called the front desk or housekeeping. Bathroom was dirty and old (mold in the shower). Carpet felt dirty. Front room was dark and dingy. Sofa bed mattress was thin and old and very broken in.

My allergies were horrible in hotel. I went to pick something up off the floor that I dropped and saw massive dust in corner and under bed. Explains why my eyes were on fire. Room had its share of wear and tear. We were on 12th floor and sirens and noise from the street kept waking up up. It was so loud even from that high up. Elevators were crazy slow. Breakfast was good. Not much experience with staff, there were not much around but the ones we did see seemed nice

We went for a family trip over Father’s Day weekend. Location is great. Parking is reasonable. We booked a city view room; however when we arrived they had already given our room away so we didn’t get what we anticipated and were told they’d refund us $25 a night due to the inconvenience. The indoor pool was closed which we were looking forward to using and they just told us it was unexpected. Again not what we anticipated. The bathroom smelled and honestly the place was not as clean as I would have expected for a nice downtown Chicago hotel. It also was not adequately stocked with linens for 3 so we had to call to request those. The breakfast buffet was okay but nothing to brag about. The view out the front of the hotel was nice. Hotel water was turned off from 10PM until 6AM our first day of arrival. While water was off we had very little sleep that night as the noise in the faucets was unbearable. Came back on Saturday to housekeeping service, however they left our room unlocked with the safety latch open making our room accessible to anyone. Not happy and we reported this to the hotel staff. During this same evening we had guests above us allowing their children to run/scream in their room until 11:30 PM. Hotel location was good, and we enjoyed the free breakfast. However due to the stated issues above we will not return.

The staff were great. The time to check in was slow. A water pipe busted over the pool and they were informing all of us. It would have been nice to have known before we arrived. There was one poor lady listening to all of us. She was very patient and lovely. I don't know where her coworkers were. Not being able to flush the toilet or shower between 10pm and 6 am so the water pipe could be fixed was not pleasant. However, the complimentary breakfast is very good.
