The breakfast is one of the best! Many options , fresh & well prepared. The building is very clean, staff are great, rooms are spacious, afternoon tea charming. Only less than great observation furniture (in our room) was pretty worn with one chair being pretty grimy. Bed was comfortable & sheets fresh. They appear to be doing remodeling. Overall for the price a great place to stay.

Bit of Goodness ~ Bit of 'ugh'

All things were clean and very acceptable. We were placed on a floor that was JUST redoing the wallpaper - BO was abhorrently wafting, and about tripped over a big industrial bucket coming out of my room; nice gentleman worker apologized and moved it out of the way. The real complaint is the bed - mattress and no true comforter, not cozy enough. The mattress was not kind to those with joint issues, at all. The pool was LOVELY, much larger than typical hotel pools.

The room was very clean with the exception of the carpet which was dark and dingy. The property was going through renovations and our room was very clean and appeared to structurally to have been refreshed & updated except for the flooring and possibly the chair in the room. There was no mirror in the main room, there was a full length mirror inside the closet. This was a no frills room & hotel. Good for short stay, one night. Photos are deceiving.

I have stayed here many times. The day staff at the desk are lovely. The night, well…… was not notified of the remodeling and did not expect a construction look or staff outside my door until 630pm, or the barking dog in the room next door, or the housekeeper opening my door at 8am
