Looking for a hot shower and a snuggly bed in Chantima? Unfortunately, lastminute.com.au's database of Thailand hotels doesn't include any accommodation in Chantima's centre.

No need to panic though! Khiri Mat is around 30 kilometres away and features some brilliant places to crash, such as the Le Charme Sukhothai Resort and Nakorn de Sukhothai hip hotel.

Designer jeans or year-round shorts? However you roll, you're bound to love a trip to Sukhothai, 50 kilometres away. With the Wat Mahathat and Wat Saphan Hin to check out, you're not gonna be bored. Sukhothai accommodation options are the Sila Resort and J&J Guesthouse. 60 kilometres to the northeast of Chantima you'll find Phitsanulok, which is home to the Amarin Lagoon Hotel and Taman Spa Resort. The Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum and the Wat Ratburana are just some of the most popular sites to see while in Phitsanulok.

Unless you're going to set up camp at Phitsanulok Airport, it might be wise to book some accommodation before you fly. The Le Parc Wangnang is close by, or you could always travel to the centre of town. It's 60 kilometres away.

The room was clean but dated. Breakfast was fine with only a small selection of items. The pool was the highlight, clean and well cared for and with a saltwater filtration system.
