When you stay at Holiday Inn Express Changbaishan by IHG in Baishan, you'll be near ski lifts, just steps from Fokulon Lake and Changbaishan Ski Resort.
Hotel checkin agent did ask me for a ¥2000 deposit even though I've paid in full by a valid credit card when I booked with Hotel.com on-line, but I insisted not to pay the deposit. It was really annoying and I considered it was a harassment.

Don’t be fooled by the Westin branding.
