This pretty little parrotfish is still young and might be male or female, but as it ages and grows in size it will ultimately end up male, regardless of how it began life.
Colorful reef squids are easy to spot here, and they often travel in small schools. Their undulating fins allow them to travel backward with ease, making it difficult to get a close look. It can be quite hypnotic to watch them swim around, and if you stay long enough you might even catch them talking to one another by flashing colors or changing skin patterns.
Great snorkeling and scuba diving site, where volcanic gasses seep through the ocean floor. As the name implies, it feels like you are swimming in a glass of Champagne. Best if you can free dive down about 20 feet and hang for a minute, but fun regardless. Short boat ride from Roseau.
Colorful parrotfish hanging near the bubbling reef. Not quite an orgy of reef fish, but there's a nice variety. You can also spot eels, pufferfish, trumpetfish and more.

The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked ...
