Comfortable, cozy and a great location.

This Lake Poinsett lakefront property was exactly as described. We appreciated that the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for meal prep. The bed was comfortable, loved the fluffy towels, and everything inside the home was clean. The lake service came and raised the dock while we were there which was great otherwise we had to wade through a few feet of water to get on the dock due to all the rain they've received. The owners were kind enough to offer early check-in and said we could stay past checkout on Sunday. Wish we could've taken advantage of that but had to get back to reality. The beautiful weather made our weekend even better. Unfortunately the fish must've left for the weekend as we didn't catch a thing! We enjoyed golfing at a couple of the local courses. This property is nothing fancy but if your looking for a reasonably priced stay on Lake Poinsett with all the basic necessities I would highly recommend it.

This property is absolutely beautiful - from the inside to the outside! It's quiet and truly secluded even though it sits right off of Hwy 28. The inside is beautifully redone. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners allowed us use of their lake toys, even though we were unable to use them because it was simply too windy to be out on the water; but nonetheless, this is an added bonus making this home even more enjoyable and worth the money. The inside is laid out perfectly and there was plenty of room for us to space out and yet be together. The aesthetic is gorgeous and the kids even asked if we could live there. :D Thanks for having us! We'll be back!
