This is a great hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is delicious. The pool has a good size and they keep it very clean. The restaurant and bar are great also. If you are going to eat out at a restaurant, it is better to either walk or take a taxi back to the Bocagrande area. The restaurants are better in that area. The hotel has access to the beach, but be prepared to negotiate with the people who have all the umbrellas and chairs. Ask prices before you accept anything.

Hotel Dann is a gem! The staff are wonderful the property is beautiful. We stayed on the 6th floor with an ocean view for my birthday and it was everything I dreamed of. The breakfasts were magnificent! Fresh juices and fruit, eggs made to order, everything we ate was delicious. The pool was clean, spacious and steps from the beach. Security 24/7 and walking distance to shops and great food. Great for couples and families. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Cartagena!

Had a great stay

Went to Cartagena to celebrate my husband's birthday. I must say this hotel was awesome. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Great location and is within walking distance to Boca Grande for shopping and restaurants. Sightseeing bus stops close by for easy hop on, hop off. Would definitely stay here again.

Pase una mala experiencia por falta de información, no se me ofreció información para hacer los tours, ni el front desk y ni el personal hizo alguna recomendación para hacer algún tours. Creo que siendo un buen hotel con tremenda ubicación, debería ofrecer una oficina visible cerca del front desk para dar esa información. Ya hablé de eso al personal para ver si ustedes puedan implementarlo y si ya lo tienen como me dijo su front desk pero no tiene ningún letrero visible para el el turismo y donde creo que hay un Costomer service, en la puerta de salida no sería un buen lugar adecuado para este tipo de servicios Por que generalmente se suele conseguir cerca del front desk para hacer más específico. Pienso volver al lugar muy pronto con 6 matrimonios y me gustaría que se tome en cuenta esta sugerencia. Gracias.

The good - Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good and the prices were reasonable. A good location away from the busier parts of the city and cheap UBER ride to anywhere you needed to go. The not so Good - accessibility…..the elevator starts on the first floor, not the main floor and only goes between floors for the rest of the building. Keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns. the room we had was a little dated and could have used a refresh, the bed was very hard, a coffee maker in the room would have been a great addition!! There were limited lounging options at the pool and if you wanted a place with shade you better be the first there in the morning!! We witnessed people “reserve” loungers with towels and then walk away !!! And only spend a little time at the pool and expect to claim the shaded loungers literally all day…….this needs to be better controlled. Overall the Dann hotel was clean and the staff was great, but the overall experience was just ok.

The experience at hotel Dann was amazing! the staff was wonderful, accommodating and friendly! I would absolutely return! The hotel restaurant even provided my friend with a complementary birthday cake which was so sweet of them.
