First time in Dreams CARTAGENA. Had triedthe one in Panama years ago which was better . Need to improve on quality of food also service . Even their specialty resturant “ portofiho” was less than average. Food quality specifically the meats are below average. Staff are nice but few of them speak english. Need more staff that understand basic level specially the security. Delayed entry more than once as we had to explain eventually in Spanish we learned that we are staying in the resort.

It was 25 minutes from Cartagena and the beach was almost private. No hassle to get a beach place. Nice restaurant and drinks at the beach

The buffet food was gross, the drinks was mid, the Italian restaurant had to make a reservation for then told us there was no availability when I saw who was in the restaurant several seats were empty. The entertainment dancing was nice. It’s a nice resort I wouldn’t consider it luxury though 3/5

It's a great resort It has a lot of pool options for you a lot of restaurants to go to The golf part of the resort is not free and it's expensive to participate. Quick tip they do provide transportation to the city via bus or taxi but always ask the resort how much it would cost to get back and forth never the taxi drivers they are running a side business and they will charge you more than the resort would. Also get your money exchanged at the airport they do have a machine in the resort but it does not work. Other than these small drawbacks the resort was okay I enjoyed myself The room service is great in the concierge service was very attentive to our needs.

The property was average. I had an ocean view which was nice, the bed and pillows were comfy but the shower floor was not sloped properly so water filled up and went outside the door so I had to sweep the water with my feet to the corner drain for it to go down. The toilet is low for kids, I had to request and iron/board and the iron leaked/sprayed water everywhere. The carpet in the hallway was badly stained and coming apart, the room exterior door was badly scuffed and the lobby couches were stained and filthy. I went to all of the restaurants except Portafino. Oceania was below average. The buffet was average but the Seaside restaurant was good. The lobby restroom had 4 stalls that were locked, I assume because they were out of order and the two that were usable were out of tissue and not maintained well. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating but the hotel in general needs maintenance. I took pictures but don’t see where I can upload them.

The property can use more dining options, especially for dinner. A room specifically for a night club would be ideal as well as more variety of music genres. The property can offer more activities during the day, as well as make sure they show on the app. Spa was great, pool area was also nice. Customer service was awesome. Rafel was awesome, he helped with our bags and assisted with getting us a taxi. He was always available and willing to help.

The resort did not honor my online booking price as I was told purchasing from the US they have tariffs they have to honor but since I was checking in at the resort that they could charge me whatever they wanted. Awful experience
