The location was a bit further off 81 than I thought but the area around the hotel was suitable for walking the dog. Plenty of green grass and quiet.

Apparently you cannot book a room if you are local to the area. (have to live 30 miles away or more) No exceptions. You do not know this unless you click on the more information link. One would think that would make that a little higher up in the property information area. We booked a room because our hot water heat went out and just needed to take a shower. Our stay would have been more profit to the property than anything. While the person at the front desk was nice in letting us know and we did not fault her for following the rules. Information like this should be before the click for more information link.
