There's only 1 place to stay within a 10-kilometre radius of central Carbuccia, so you'll need to move faster than a kid chasing an ice cream truck if you want somewhere to stay close by.

In terms of a central location, you won't do much better than Sole e Monte. It's a fabulous place to stay after you've explored your way around the centre.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Port de Plaisance Charles Ornano and Calcatoggio Church in Tucce. The Kallisté Hôtel and Spunta Di Mare are a few of the hotel options here. 18 kilometres to the southeast of Carbuccia you'll find Zevaco, which is home to the Chez Mc Donald – Hostel / Auberge de Jeunesse and Le Gîte du Chalet Pietri. Go 30 kilometres northwest and you'll find yourself in Ota, a regional centre with a population of 500. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your selfie stick and get your tourist on at Gorges de Spelunca, Aquarium de la Poudriere and Genoese Tower. Got some more time to spare? Take advantage of the photo ops at the Porto Beach and Bussaglia Beach. There are numerous great hotels available to book in Ota.
