Book Capel-Cynon hotels

Could be a lovely hotel if more attention paid to lots of little things that add up. On the positive side - Our breakfasts were very good (other than a chipped breakfast cup). Staff were very pleasant. Good parking at back of hotel. Nice little bar area. Very comfortable bed with nice clean linen and towels. Then (if only someone paid attention to detail!), Sticky, grubby door handles and stair rails In the bedroom, coffee cup stains on the dressing table, a dirty pair of socks in the drawer, dried out contact lenses on the bedside table, crumbs around and behind curtain area, mould around windows, cobwebs, curtain off rail. In the bathroom, mould in the shower and paint peeling on the ceiling, rusty shower soap tray, dirt and dust around radiator and on door mouldings, mould around window and on glass. The room in need of a good deep clean, interior of drawers and wardrobe need wiping out.

Third time staying lovely hotel great view great staff, great food we will return

A little below what we expected. Needs a refurb and rethink. Basement room was muggy, with no view out of windw. Very noisy early morning with workers right outside window- disappointing overall.

Perfect family room with the most incredible view from the balcony. Devine food and lovely staff. Amazing get away, we will be back. (Breakfast choices were fab, croissants, cereal, pancakes, hot buffet, fruit, yogurts)

Very nice country hotel. Food is excellent and the staff are friendly and thoughtful.

A great atmosphere. The food was wonderful.
