Lovely Hotel in Cape Town

Wonderful hotel- they have the best breakfast buffet and rooms extremely big. It’s sad the pool area was under renovation but besides that lovely hotel.

Hi, I did a last minute booking perhaps why I got a basement room with a view of the parking. It couldve been mentioned. The fact that the swimming pool is under MAJOR re-haul also a good thing to mention. No hot water in the shower the evening I arrived. Then I asked the staff to check the shower in the morning - I went for a walk. It takes about 5 minutes to get some warm water in the shower...such a waste of water. Breakfast was good, staff are attentive and well presented. If you like peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you.

Misleading and fraudulent

I was very dissatisfied with the room, as I had booked ocean view room but the room was blocked by building facades. No sight of the ocean. The front desk gave poor service and wanted me to pay R1000 more per night for proper ocean view. I feel the description of ocean view on booking app is misleading and fraudulent.

From the moment I booked, the Guest Experience Team was very helpful and willing to assist with my requests. We were welcomed with enthusiasm with the lobby equipped with welcome drinks. The hotel kept me up to date with the maintenance happening at the hotel. The room was spacious, big enough for our family of 3. Breakfast was good, however on our last day many food items seem to run out and the wait to get a table was a bit long. Overall it was a good stay.

Average hotel in good location

For the cost it was quite an average hotel. Really great location, we enjoyed exploring the area and going along the promenade. Buffet breakfast wasn’t anything special and I’d recommend eating at one of the amazing food places nearby instead.
