Beautiful Grand entrance. Staff is always there to help and smiling. Nice variety of restaurants, steak, Mexican Japanize, or the main cafeteria. I didn't stay long enough to visit them all. Only 1 food complaint, the main cafeteria food was never Hot, Lukewarm at best. The beach was mostly clean when the neighboring beaches were covered with sea grass. Your in luck if your a drinker, open bar from 10am-midnight tastey mix of beer wine and mixed drinks.

This is my second time visited the Las Americas Riu and this time was even better than the last. Rooms and resort are clean and tidy. The staff is warm and helpful, it’s not noisy but there’s still plenty to do and perfect spot to relax. Riu party’s are a nice option and complementary shuttle makes it accessible for everyone. Food is decent- buffet has a variety of options especially if you have a special diet like myself, lots of fresh fruit. I only had one incident and the man at reception, Geo took care of it promptly and ensured I had a very special birthday trip. Thankful to the hard working amazing staff and can’t wait to go back.

Our original reservation was for RIU Las Americas but when we showed up they said they were overbooked. This happened to my who friend who i flew down with who booked on another site too. One month in advance....with confirmation reservation..So the only option they gave us was to send us to another resort. And when I said it was unacceptable she said we could fly back to the US. So we basically had to take what they offered. I paid for Las Americas adults only and we had to go to a family resort. Riu Peninsula. Very unsatisfied with them.

Beautiful location! The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room had a fabulous view to the sea. The restaurants were delightful, and the variety of food was good. On the last night of our stay we were disappointed because the entire hotel had no water. Unfortunately our room had leaks which were resolved quickly. Would be good to have extra large bathrobes in the rooms and slippers The entertainment was great! The beach was small but very clean.We had a wonderful time! It would be great if the people that serve tourists speak English.
