Spend more time daydreaming than actually working? Find yourself flicking through old travel pics again and again? Time for a Campome getaway. Accommodation options in Campome's downtown area are on the thin side. But if you're up for a short drive, you can easily stay in one of the 2 digs within 10 kilometres of the action.

Two of the most central options available, the Château de Riell and Résidence Hôtésia Balcons du Canigou are awesome places to kick back after a busy day of adventures.

If you're still after somewhere to stay and coming up short, you could investigate the Riberach or the Hotel La Coma. The first is 20 kilometres away, while the second is 30 kilometres away. If these aren't up your alley, we'd recommend you check out the La Chaumière, which is 30 kilometres from town.

Looking for more to do? Spend the day enjoying the Mont-Louis Citadel and Formigueres Ski Resort. You'll find them in Matemale, 25 kilometres to the west of Campome. Matemale hotel options include the La Résidence les Esplaneilles and Mona Lisa Le Clos des Fontaneilles. 25 kilometres to the southeast of Campome you'll find Montbolo, which is home to the Grand Hôtel de la Reine Amélie and Castel Emeraude. The Ceret Museum of Modern Art and Abbaye de Sainte-Marie are among the more popular sites to explore when you're in Montbolo.

Travel 40 kilometres east and you'll find Perpignan, a regional centre with a population of 110,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, whip out your selfie stick and get your tourist on at the University of Perpignan, St. Jacques Church and the Palais des Congres. Why not also explore Campo Santo and Perpignan Cathedral? Perpignan offers places to stay that should suit everyone, such as the La Villa Duflot and Best Western Plus Hotel Windsor.

Unless you're going to pitch a tent at Perpignan - Rivesaltes International Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation. The Novotel Perpignan is close by, or you could always travel into Campome's centre. It's 40 kilometres away.
