Anna’s rental was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The property was right on the beach, complete with a beautiful sunrise and tide pools. We took advantage of the grill and restaurant down the beach for meals. Some good things to prepare for: The kitchen is complete with utensils, but does not have spices, oils or any other basic cooking ingredients. There is also no charcoal for the grill. All was good except one of the bathrooms, no water

This is a beautiful place to stay. Beautiful beach with tide pools to explore. The hostess is accommodating and friendly. Everything was clean. We would definitely stay here again. My 9 year old loved hanging out with the Lucy, the owner's dog.

We loved our stay! It worked well for the parents in the bedrooms and most of the kids sleeping on the porch in sleeping bags on the provided beds (late March). The beach is directly off the porch, just walk right down. And I'll try to clear up the confusion left by other reviewers regarding rocks and sand at the beach. At low tide, there is primarily a rocky shore in which you will find an abundance of sea life which entertained the kids for many hours. Beyond the rocks there seemed to be mostly sandy botttom which allowed for play in the water. At high tide, the rocks are all covered with water. Playing in surf at high tide required awareness of the rocks just past the surf. Paddle boarding at any tide was enjoyable with the awareness of the rocks below at high tide. The house is just as you see in the pictures- nice couches intersting architecture, working kitchen- with the typical restraints of an off-grid house in Baja. We found there to be sufficiant electricty and water supply (utilty and drinking). Wifi worked for our phone access, and there was a washing machine for midweek laundry. If you are looking for a spacious beach house with a big porch right on the sand, this is it. 5 star baja rating. If you want 5 star Miami beach, you can find that (and pay much more for it) elswhere. This was just right for 4 adults and 6 kids that came to play in the sand for 5 days. We spent 6 weeks here from mid 2024-01 to end 2024-02. Pros: Many (a) Beautiful, quiet location (other than surf, wind and the occasional dune buggy) (b) House nice and comfortable, including beds. (c) Was concerned about off-grid electricity, but had no problem. Solar panels and batteries powered a small fridge, all lights, internet and my computer with no issues. There is a back-up propane electrical generator but we did not use. (d) Service attendant Alfredo was attentive re filling water cisterns, emptying garbage frequently, ensuring house propane tank for stove and fireplace was filled, etc. (e) Neighbours to north are super friendly, and provided suggestions re local restaurants, and weekly (Wednesday) gent who sells veggies (about 6 km away) (f) Town of San Felipe has large super market that has most things one needs. Cons: Not much other than: (1) Fridge is small, but we found OK (2) No clothes washer/dryer. We went into town once to a laundry. (3) No enclosed yard for small dogs, but neighbours said coyotes are really rare on beach. (4) Sand blows onto porch, and tracks into house. So get used to that 'gritty feeling' under your feet. (5) No TV, but we used internet to watch a couple of movies on my PC. n short, a very nice house and location. Overall, a great place, and safe/secure.

For my GF’s birthday trip she wanted privacy, quiet, a nice beach and some family time (we brought her 10 year old daughter). The beach house delivered on all counts! Highly recommend! You can’t beat this place!
