Our room was spacious and clean. Would have liked to have a king bed but ended up with two queen. The location was great and convenient to all of the sites that we wanted to visit. The view was fabulous, with the Calgary tower, and Brotherhood of Man directly out our window. The other side of the building had a river view.

The property was well-maintained and centrally located, about 15–25 minutes from most destinations. The staff provided excellent service and decorated my room for my anniversary. The property is close to a homeless encampment, which may affect the overall experience for some people. So just something to be aware of

Staff were friendly and helpful. Building was clean and centrally located in downtown Calgary close to shops and restaurants. Property is also close to the freeway if you’re traveling in and out of downtown. Our room was clean and modern with a nice view. One amenity I found exceptional was the fitness center. If working out during travel is important, the hotel gym had ample modern equipment similar to those of commercial gyms. Towels and cold water were also provided in the fitness center as well.

We paid for a deluxe river view room but got a deluxe city view room instead. We brought this to the front desk attention and they were offering free parking for this mistake. We just left it until our check out to give them enough time to bring this to the management attention. This was very disappointing as we paid extra for the river view experience.

My expectation aren’t met- first the shower is squeaking loud that irritates your ears while having a shower especially when you turn up the water to heat. The front desk area- needs improvement- different set up I guess. The surrounding area of the building outside seems unsafe to walk around, the mini store at the front desk could do better since the outside area of the hotel is not that convenient. Kids menu at the dining room can add more menu for families with your kids would be nice. Sound proofing in the suite isn’t great it’s really loud outside with all the vehicles. I don’t recommend this hotel for families. But more for individuals- adults-and short term stays.

We had 10 rooms rented for a golf trip, 9 single King Rooms and Suite with Pantry access. The Pantry was awesome. We ate breakfast at the shoe & canoe in the lobby everyday, the food was great and the service was even better. Great location as well.

Excellent hotel in the heart of downtown Calgary. Extremely great location within walking distance of Chinatown and 7th Ave. Very pleased with the staff and ease of check in, a long with the size of the room. Highly recommend!

The only down side to my hotel experience is the noise from outside. I had a view from the city side . On this side the hotel had a fire station and the constant alarms going of wreck my experience. I could also hear all the loud cars from the street. If you value a quiet hotel this is not your place. Whats weird is the fire station looks like its attached to the hotel it self.
